Despite the camera placement, which is similar to Huawei P40, the design is quite new. Viewed from the back, the wide-angle camera, main camera, and depth sensor are in order from top to bottom, while the single macro camera is on the right. The LED is located below the 2- Megapixel depth sensor. At the back panel a fair size, a Redmi sticker is printed. The back panel has a sunburst texture that avoids smudges. The fingerprint sensor that has an integrated power button along with the volume keys is placed on the right panel. The buttons are well-positioned, they can be reached without any stretch. While the bottom panel offers a Type C port for charging and a primary speaker along with the microphone. A top secondary loudspeaker combined with the bottom primary speaker provides a great stereo sound experience.

The ultra-wide-angle camera provides a wider field of view. The close-up photos captured from the macro lens are also well captured, the shots are quite sharp and detailed and show minimum noise when captured in broad daylight. The depth sensor creates a

nice depth of field effect in the background while keeping the main focus on the subject. The portrait photos have a natural blur with enough details.
